PSALM 91

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

You might want to read of unfortunate Soldiers that survived Japanese or North Korean prison camps. They were beaten, starved, infested with lice. Many survivors credit their faith for their survival and will to carry on.

its the only thing i have faith in

I not only know a few who have, but I also am seeing it in the younger generation among my childrens friends.

I think part of this manifestation is due to the Pope and corruption within the church. I mean just today I saw the report on the nuns who were stealing from the church and gambling. Crazy times.

not losing faith in God. One can not lose faith in air.

Rather, I'm amazed at what God has allowed. There is a difference. Most I find,are too shallow and quick to cite scripture at us to serve their inner christian justice warrior.

We haven't even learned the depravity of the rulers of this world fully. Since God doesn't distinguish between sin. It's the way it has to be. for now. so yeah. Life got old real quick and I never thought it would be that depressing. But this is the time we live.

No I haven't lost faith Goofy. But I do appreciate your posts that remind me to be more mindful. I hope you're doing well!

I will never lose faith in Jesus. looking back over my life, at the darkest of times I can now see he was always with me and he always will be!
I think its easy to see when you get older and look back.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

If you are losing faith now you are in trouble. We have not begun to experience the storm yet.... Better start reading the bible. Read Revelation when you are feeling strong. A storm is ahead. Prepare yourself now be ready for the true test of your faith and remember - God will provide.

I have not lost my faith in God, but I do feel as if my spirit is very close to being broken...I remind my self on an hourly basis that Gods timing and plan are perfect in order to keep the sadness from overtaking me.

I'm afraid that some of those who believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture will lose their faith when the Tribulation begins. Remember, don't lose your faith when things don't pan out and the Tribulation begins when China attacks America.

Couldnt really answer. I am not losing faith in God. But I have lost all faith in the modern church. Man made doctrine and dogma. I love God. I am humbled by the grace of christ that was sufficient enough to cover all sin. But the church does everything they can to send seekers running for the door.

I haven't lost faith in Him. I'm in a different place in my faith than I was five years ago though. And the more science learns about. DNA and energy, and the effects of our emotional state on other living things around us, the more marvel I have for our Creator.

But there are peaks and valleys in one's spiritual life. It isn't all happiness all the time. That's how we grow; by going through difficult times.

To me, it takes way too much faith to be an atheist. I tried it for six months when I was in college. Every blade of grass just jacks that up.

The water is terrible and the sun gives us cancer. If this was designed for comfort your God does not know jack shit about ergonomics.

It is not your faith in GOD that matters most.
It is faith in yourself,... doing the right things throughout your lifetime that matters the most.

Have You been walking the right path?
Have you been serving others more??…this would be considered divine.

Life is about your experiences and your relationship with others.
Never do harmful things to others or belittle them…

Hard working,sacrificing being humble and HONEST would be the most important aspects of your armour of GOD or Great Mother.

Live your life as humbly as possible without being a pushover,..to avoid any remorse or regrets….
