We have a huge power station 10 miles from our house which is simply protected by a chain link fence. No guards. No cameras that I can see. No barriers. Take out several of those and I bet not having power in zero degree whether will wake up a few people. It amazes me nothing has been done to harden these stations, IMO. I just read last night the DHS announcement on preparing for an attack on the grid and to plan on a minimum outage of 14 days to as long as 6 months. Thank goodness we live in the country and will have water, wood to burn, and food supplies. Pitty, the people stuck in the cities if and when the SHTF.
