OP you gotta fight these shadow people off your Dad is too weak. Shadow people are immune to most damage but they have certain weakness you can exploit in battle. For one more light the room is the weaker they can manifest. So you need to have super bright light LED lights and reflective clothing like they wear in the France riots so you don’t cast a shadow yourself. Tinfoil works too, or mirrors if you are really rich. Now these beings are weak to iron and silver, so you need a sword or dagger made of this material to fight them and have a chance. However, if you dont have legit weapons if you have legit silverware this is just as good but you will have to get in closer which is more dangerous but if you are in the UK it maybe your only option. When you go to fight them scream the latin word for light over and over again (Lux) because it will sap their energy because they are beings of darkness and evil. Make sure your dad is hooked up to 100% oxygen during the fight and in a safe room. Lastly make sure to fight the shadow people at high noon when they are weakest.
