Under evolution or an atheist paradigm, a baby did not just pop into existence. A human baby before it came from a proto-human; before that it came from a proto-ape; before that some other kind of proto-mammal before an ape. We started from single celled organisms that replicate and did not need parents.

I'm not saying there's not more to it then that and I beleive in g-d but you're argument is flawed :)

We, as humans, always think in terms of "the beginning and the end". For us, everything follows a cycle. We think in terms that are segmented into blocks of time.

Every day has a beginning and end. Every life, weather pattern, mood, thought, scent. We are bombarded with the concept that everything begins and everything ends, period.

Here's a concept:

What if there was no beginning? Everything infinitely reaches into the past. There is no first baby, because baby has always been. The chicken and the egg have existed coincidingly for eternity, and will continue to without end. Instead of thinking of time in a straight line, imagine it as a giant loop. The circle has no beginning or end, no matter which way it spins.

This idea is hard to grasp, because we cannot understand it in our simply primitive minds. But is it really so far fetched, or is the "beginning and end" school of thought making better sense to you?
