melting point of what? It's a vacuum...as in practically no matter...gotta have matter to have temperature. The relatively few molecules up there are "hot" in temperature, but so thinly spread that they are ineffective in conducting heat to objects around them.
 Quoting: hotdogg

The science we are taught says there are extremely high temps there. That's the issue. Melting points of the materials the lunar module were made from. All of them would melt in the temps they tell us are in the various higher levels of our atmosphere.

Also, having never been there, I can't say what the temps are with any certainty. All NASA has taught me is to not believe anything they put forward, because they freaking lie.

This may be why they say they landed inbetween night and day to not get the heat/ cold fluctuations you're talking about. Plausible.

So why are they giving Steph Curryshit about him saying we never went to the moon. NASA even invited him to "educate him" on the moon landings.

and, again, where's that picture of the edge of the flat Earth?.. I mean. we're surrounded by it, but no one has ever been to it...if you step off that edge, would you "fall" into space? What holds the atmosphere to the flat Earth? What is the source of gravity for a flat Earth?

They landed in the lunar "morning", when the surface was relatively cooler, coming out of the 14 day "night" (shade) period.

Second video at 2.50. The debunking of the main smoking gun in that film is ridiculous.

Sure the film is propaganda and agenda driven but the existence of the that reel is enough for most without anyone's else's opinions or productions.

The astronauts faking earth from low orbit is the smoking gun here and the least thing debunked.

You're not helping by disseminating disinfo.

Only the TV-camera for the Apollo 11 EVA was B&W, ALL OTHER CAMERAS: i.e. the 70 mm slides, 16 mm film, and the EVA TV-cameras for all other missions were colour.

There were SIX manned moon landings, BTW.

Can anyone disprove it?
 Quoting: SCRays9

Yes.

Bart Sibrel – a filmmaker, produced and directed four films for his company, AFTH, LLC,[47] including a 2001 film, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon,[48][49] examining the evidence of a hoax. The arguments that Sibrel puts forward in this film have been debunked by many sources, including Svector Studios' five-part video series Lunar Legacy,[50] which disproves the documentary's main argument that the Apollo crew faked their distance from the Earth while in low Earth orbit. Sibrel has said that the effect on the shot covered in his film was made through the use of a transparency of the Earth. Some parts of the original footage, according to Sibrel, were not able to be included on the official releases for the media. On such allegedly censored parts, the correlation between Earth and Moon phases can be clearly confirmed, refuting Sibrel's claim that these shots were faked.

Built a space shuttle and decided to go back to horse and buggy.
 Quoting: JIK

In case you missed it the Space Shuttle was a failure: it never could do what it was original designed to do, it was immensely expensive, and it was unsafe.
It was the black hole that sucked up most of the USA's HSF funding.

They got it right the first time. Changing the design philosophy to reusable spaceplanes was way premature, the tech just wasn't up to it yet.

So, this turd wrangler takes a few comments out of context and concludes that it's "PROOF" (which by the way proof is for whiskey and higher math; what ya'll are calling proof is evidence) and makes a rather banal, and frankly dumb, video about how we didn't go to the moon?

Okay, I could spend paragraph after paragraph explaining how fucking dumb this video is, but instead, I'll just summarize what needs to be done with the "no moon landing", "flat earther" crowd---ignore them.

That's right, I for one, am ignoring you. You're either idiots or fools, or a combination therein. You are allowing groups to keep you distracted from real global problems---disease, famine, war, rise of surveillance state, and hundred other issues---so you can chase the man-bear-pigs.

How the hell are you any different than some fruit cup babbling on about "global warming" when we appear to be entering a small Ice Age?

You're not. You're generally people who either, A, have a mental illness, or, B, smoke way too much fucking weed. For example, Eddie "Jits is King but I had to take up Muay Thai" Bravo.

You don't need to be arrested, euthanized, or drugged. You need to be ignored just like Social Justice Warriors. Defund and don't give their rap the bullshit it needs to become fertile and grow.

How is it a "smoking gun" when the only supposed evidence comes from Sibrel's lies?
The footage was never classified. They weren't filming out a circular window. There was no transparency. There was no cardboard cutout.

The Earth seen in the window shows current at the time weather, shows signs of rotation, and moves around in the windows. Plus Sibrel cut out part of the footage that proves him wrong.

With a rocket that doesn't meet current safety standards built with techniques that don't exist anymore and much of it built by hand? Ok, then update the rocket.
Then you have the lander that was designed to only take 3 to the Moon, and 2 to the surface and stay for only a few days. Want to take more? Want to stay longer? Too bad. This spacecraft can't do that. So you have to redesign that too. And neither have gotten the budget and congressional attention that Apollo got.

Rockets are still expensive and we don't have a heavy lifting rocket right now. So it still has to be rebuilt. R&D is only a small part of the cost and you ignored the part of how the Saturn V was built using techniques that don't exist any more, parts of it hand built, and that it doesn't meet current safety standards. and budget is still a factor as congress hasn't given returning nearly the attention they gave Apollo. Politicians are more concerned with what will get them reelected 2 years down the road instead of what will pay off later and get their successor reelected 10 years down the road.

And why not go with two men on the surface again (allegedly) for a brief time? Land them at a new location.
 Quoting: What is Aleppo

When the stated goals are to take more people and stay longer then building a spacecraft that can't meet those goals is a waste of money. A lot cheaper to use unmanned craft if you just want to look at new areas.

 Quoting: rosicrucian1

Yeah would be nice if OP or anyone could analyze the flight data or films. But don't ya just know...it was overwritten (the original vids) and lost (the flight data), not unlike the technology that would allow us to get back there that the NASA scientist in the vid reminisced about going back in a second if he had the tech again.

And oh yeah....waiting.... (not sure for what but just thought I'd put that since you guys always put out a ridiculous stupid time-wasting challenge and then type 'waiting' as if it means something or means you won an argument)

And do you know WHY the original films were lost? Think about it. Really. Why would that be an important thing to lose. Can you think of a reason?

Because...with original PHYSICAL spools of film, the fakery BS that was added and released in cliplets to the public had to be done in post unlike modern digital video files that can be saved at various stages and states.

And to actually go back to 'photoshop' a low-level medium like tape at a sufficient and passable quality when you have literally 100's and 100's of hours of it would have been an EXHAUSTIVE...I mean EXFUCKINGHAUSTIVE undertaking. Monumental in fact. Something they'd have to hire enough people to ever get it done in any amount of time that they'd have too many security risks.

In other words....uh we could lose it? Sweet, that sounds much better than what we just laid out in this 4 hour initial 'fix the tape' planning meeting. WTG Phil! Employee of the month!

 Quoting: What is Aleppo

Actually, the Saturn V was the most expansive lifter ever build.
In aerospace it is pretty much you don't use it you lose it.

Just call BAE Systems and/or EADS and tell them you're in desperate need of a new functioning Concorde aircraft, money is no objection.
Keep in mind none has been build in nearly 40 years, the people working on it moved on, learning new skill-sets, many are retired, many are dead.
The machinery used to make them has been scrapped or retooled to make other things, many of the off-the-shelf parts and materials are no longer available.
So 3 to 5 years later your brand new 1 billion euro Concorde is rolled out, and you won't even be allowed to fly it.
It's not up to modern safety standards.
It might be possible to cobble together a "new" Concorde by cannibalising the remaining old ones, but that is not an option for the Apollo system.

Cheaper and safer is to hand over a big bag of money and develop a new system.
And not half a bag, like with the Space Shuttle, that one could never do what it was supposed to do.

Who are you to say how long “people want to stay” on the moon next time around?
 Quoting: What is Aleppo

It's the people who want to go to the Moon that say so.
What they want is lengthy stays so they can get some serious work done.

And all that needs to be achieved WITHIN CURRENT BUDGET CONSTRAINS.
After all the American taxpayer is NOT going to vote for a tax increase so some eggheads get to practise their hobby.
Americans don't care for science that doesn't have medical or military utility.
Americans don't care to blaze trails, to think and plan for the future.

The past is a foreign country, the America that went to the Moon is long gone and dead.

There’s plenty reason to go back (allegedly) for another brief visit on a different part of the moon. After all, they only landed men (allegedly) on 6 locations on it.
 Quoting: What is Aleppo

If you think that Apollo happened so people could study the Moon you are completely off your rocker.

Apollo happened to win the Space Race.
It was a battle in the Cold War.
Doing science was pretty much on the bottom of the lists of reasons for doing it.

Yeah would be nice if OP or anyone could analyze the flight data or films. But don't ya just know...it was overwritten (the original vids) and lost (the flight data)

Why do you lie?
Why do hoaxies lie so fucking much?

Is lying a lifestyle choice for you, or are you just to retarded to have figured out that you are regurgitating lies, like some braindead parrot?

Re: NASA admits we never went to the moon
If we landed men on the moon successfully six times, why change anything at all? If Apollo was such a great success, why change it? Just do it now like they did it then.
 Quoting: What is Aleppo

Why?
What would be the point?

Resurrecting Apollo hardware wouldn't be cheap, and all you can do with it is three day long explorations.
Next time around people want to stay for months at the time.

 Quoting: Halcyon Dayz, FCD

“Resurrecting Apollo hardware”? Lol The great cost of such a first-time-ever (allegedly) program like Apollo is the Research & Development. That’s all been done.

If they found gold . Bet your ass they would be there
 Quoting: USA420

Gold isn't expensive enough by a long shot. It's only 40,000 bucks per kilo.
It simply wouldn't be profitable.
