The Universe is Not Expanding
I finally got up the nerve to make a video, so give me so love.

Physicists have misinterpreted the cosmological redshift as the Doppler effect due to an expansion of space. The redshift is also known as Hubble's law, and the entire big bang theory is hinged to the expansion interpretation.

I believe gravitational redshift is responsible for Hubble's law.

Objects do not have clearly defined boundaries. Cosmologists believe light travels through flat space after the light has left the star.

But objects do not have clearly defined boundaries. Each star is a part of a galaxy, each galaxy is the part of a cluster, each cluster is the part of a vein, and each vein is a part of the observable universe.

Space is not a vacuum!

This can only mean that asymptotically flat space is not a physical reality.

There is no region of space void of mass. There are only varying degrees of mass density.

With this in mind, we treat the visible universe as a cloud of mass with a constant gravitational acceleration. The density is scale variant, meaning each scale is relatively homogeneous.

The density of the scale in question can be found by taking the density at the observable radius and multiplying it by R/h, where R is the observable radius and h is the radius of the scale in question.

To find a starting point we can use the Schwarzschild radius, the ratio of the gravitational constant and the speed of light, or critical density estimates.

Either way we wind up with a mass density in the neighborhood of p=1.9*10^-26 kg/m^3 at the observable radius (1.3*10^26 meters or 4200 Mpc).

Plugging the numbers in to check the hypothesis we find an expected gravitational redshift with an apparent recession velocity around 74 km/s per Megaparsec, perfectly aligning with surveys of Hubble's law.

Got a kick out of your presentation style...lol

The Universe is certainly not 'expanding'.

cheers

Science is a fad.
I'd much rather partake in mysticism.

Agreed, and pinned. Why shoot yourself at the end?

"Row sub R" is how we used to refer to the symbol there at the end.
