So global warming is causing cold weather??

I heard the almanac forecast a very cold winter. We still have 2 days until winter starts and where I'm at our coldest temps are always in January and February.

Same except we’ve already had a foot of snow when we average an inch or two for this time of year.

All polar vortex's in the past few years have to do with scalar weapons that lift the ionosphere and China has even sent its pollution into the interior of BC so I couldn't breathe though there is hardly any pollution the interior desert. China. And they only happen when the liberals are in the house.

November was harsher than I have seen in a number of years but December so far has been mild.

we had tiny bit of snow around thanksgiving which is totally out of norm for us too. but nothing since and the temps have been around the 40's still not cold enough for me.

It's called Stratospheric warming, it happens every single winter. Don't listen to the stupid ass main stream media trying to scare you, its been happening forever. Google it.

You're confusing weather with climate, many novices do this, including Trump.

The global climate IS getting warmer, look at the data. Polar vortex is a result of this.


Just because some areas will see cold weather or high rainfall levels doesn't detract from climate change science.

It is all BS. They want to have it both ways. No matter what happens to the climate it must be caused by man. But they have been telling us for decades that CO2 was a “greenhouse” gas that was going to turn earth into a greenhouse. How the fuck do you get a mini ice age inside a greenhouse?

My local news weather-douches will be ecstatic They LOVE reporting bad weather I believe they get off on it.

Looking at less than 200 years of collected data & trying to predict trends and cycles that are tens of thousands of years long is not going to tell you much.

When they can predict accurate local weather more than 36 hours in advance, I'll start paying attention to this "climate change science" quackery.

Semantics can't bypass facts. Warming? Change? Climate? Weather?

They don't know squat.

Had fam move here from across the country....they keep saying, "Ya, a lot like OUR winter...."

I keep having to remind them - this is NOT typical Dec. weather! Winter here doesn't kick in (normally) till Feb.....and then only a few cold days here and there.

We've had SUSTAINED days of below avg temps, and as you say Chasity, IT AIN'T EVEN WINTER YET!!!

The Global Climat is NOT getting warmer! The Global warming peeps use a chart beginning in 1975! If they used a 100 year chart which includes the 1930's the hottest decade it shows a slight cooling!

Yeah, but Polar Vortex is more politically correct.

They can't accurately predict the weather 2-3 in the future, but they expect us to believe that they can predict what will happen (and why it's happening) years/decades into the future?

And IF they're correct about their assumptions (which I don't believe at all), then why don't they go after China which contributes >65% of all the pollution/green house emissions in the world?

Sudden Stratospheric Warming actually. SSW happens when normally easterly winds high in the atmosphere turn westerly, slowing the jet stream.

The jet stream is also in a meridional state, meaning it is loose & all over the place & subject to "blocking" where it forms a U, holding weather in place & leading to some pretty biblical droughts/floods/etc. What we were seeing up until recently was zonal flow-where it looked like gentle waves & moved weather systems along.

We are in for some extreme weather worldwide-check the science yourself-& it is not from Anthropogenic Al's bs. Gotta tell the masses something though I suppose (back in the 70's researchers predicted the planet would warm up to around the millenium then enter a cooling faze.)
