Pilots are warned not to use it. It always gave me migraines, so I avoid it. I think a lot of people get headaches from it, but never make the association. They just pop advils like candy. Many people are addicted to it and don't know it. Sad. Last Edited by Monty Python on 12/19/2018 09:05 AM Monty Python's Flying Circus |

Aspartame legally can now fall under "natural flavors" “Natural flavor” is one ingredient that sounds innocent enough, but it’s really a catch-all term that describes flavor derived from almost any type of plant or animal, regardless of how highly processed that extract may be. Worse, many times monosodium glutamate (MSG), aspartame and a number of other flavor enhancers are sometimes hidden under this category. MSG and aspartame are neurotoxins and have been linked to a number of health conditions, including headaches, muscle cramps, and a number of more serious neurological disorders. |

Quoting: Lady Jane Smith If you need a sweetener, please use stevia. natural, and as far as I know safe. We even carry packets with us when we are driving to use in our coffee at Cracker Barrel/Dennys (they only have pink, blue & yellow packets). You can also grow stevia plants yourself, add a few leaves when brewing tea for sweetness. Better yet, wean yourself altogether from all sweeteners, as much as possible. I drink unsweetened black tea and black coffee most of the time. I only use cream and sweeten my coffee when traveling for a special treat. My family and friend has reactions to stevia...I won't go into detail Not me, I don't fix what ain't broken...good ole sugar is just fine I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. Even though we use stevia, we don't use a great deal -- we stay mostly with unsweetened green tea & coffee, or water w/ lemon, so we don't use enough to do a build up. I have never consumed aspartame and never will. I also don’t let my family consume aspartame. I have coached them and friends about looking at labels and avoid anything that is labeled “Sugar-Free” as well as checking ingredients for aspartame, sucralose, Splenda, Acesulfame, etc. If you eat natural foods, unprocessed foods, you don’t have to worry about it. |

At the same time, levels of epinephrine were substantially increased by almost 500%. Epinephrine is the “fight or flight” chemicals that’s normally associated with fear, uncertainty and danger.” Odd coincidence that aspartame and psych drugs were introduced around the same time, huh? Normally methanol is recognised and metabolized, not spread everywhere. The cryptic line in the content description about fenylanilin (ant acid) is the way you are "informed." Almost as (rest assured it was) the whole reason to create the molecule being a cell poison direct injector, not a sweetener.
