These are the ingredients I just googled about ONE REGULAR (NOT DIET) HALLS COUGH DROP: CITRUS BLEND: acesulfame potassium, aspartame, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, flavors, isomalt, yellow 5 (tartrazine) Phenylketonurics: Contains 2 mg Phenylalanine Per Drop. I have been using Halls cough drops to manage a chronic asthyma cough for many years. On average I will have 4 cough drops per day...that would add up to 8 mg of asparatame per day if the info on the above cough drop contents are correct. I've recently developed severe vertigo and migranes and I'm wondering if even this small amount of the chemical could cause this...8 mg doesn't seem like a great deal. What do you think? Thanks for this info...I usually WATCH the contents of the foods I buy (though I KNOW some of the packaging hides this chemical ingredient.)
