The Church started with Jesus and the apostles, not Emperor Justinian a millennium later. Period.

If we believe the same things about faith and morals, what is your problem with the Pope? Yes, there was corruption in the Church. There might still be. No human is perfect. Catholics know that the Pope is a sinner. But his job is to not lead the Church into error regarding Church doctrine on faith and morality. How could you call recognizing the office established by Christ himself when he gave the Keys to Peter heretical? Sounds like you’re just looking for a reason to justify the schism, because that is absurd. I can't say much for RCC myself besides they are considered heretical to Orthodox Christians.
