You can but you need to level the whole country to do it.

BTW I've read a bunch of shit about the Taliban and most of it is wrong.

During the time of the Russian war many Afghan's sent their children to Pakistan for safety and to be educated.

Their education came from Saudi Wahhabi schools that taught strict insane Islam which most Afghan's didn't follow.

They then came back and became the Taliban.

If you want a more peaceful middle east then destroy the Wahhabi in Saudi Arabia.
