 OIL is at $40 a barrel..that is ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW why the market is down.
Good news for consumers, bad news for hedge funds. Oil is the new Gold Standard and with the US taking the lead in oil production OPEC can no longer control the price.
FED raising rates didn't help, however in the long run the Low rates are hurting investors, a strong bond market is better for 401Ks price oil needs to be to balance their budget: Venezuela $219 Saudi $88 Qatar $47
