Besides, if they were to launch drone strikes, the cartels would receive word about any potential risk, by the time the kill chain gave word to carry out the hits. That means the informants working for the cartels are in the higher levels of the Mexican government... Its difficult for them not to work for the cartels, considering the money offered by crime families far outweighs anything the government can give, there is just too much money in human trafficking, and drug manufacturing. By the time these 'officials' finally realize the alternative, they've already made up their minds who they're are going to work for, and its not the Mexican people, that's for damn sure.
