I’m stunned to find out how many people care more about pets and animals than humans

Animals are innocent.

I've never been betrayed by an animal.

because animals are easier to deal with and offer unconditional love.

My cats never stole a credit card from me or used it.

I care about my daughters and a few other people more than my pets.

Why, you ask, would I care for my pets more than a person I am not acquainted with?

My pets are affectionate, empathetic, and they don't judge me.


If talking in general, I care less for people, but only because I care less for those who care more for themselves as a species than what books have indoctrinated them to believe to be inferior lifeforms.

Life is life, and no matter how small and short-lived it may exist, it's still a facet of the mysterious gift we've all been granted to experience.

Companion animals are much better at unconditional love than most people

They don't have politics They don't have religion They don't judge

Their love is Unconditional and pure

Long live cats and dogs - more understanding and in tune with their humans than most humans will ever be

WHY beyond family and tribe should people be all about people? It leads to no good

My animals miss me when I am gone (3 days max), never expect me to buy them presents, are easier to maintain, don't talk back or steal from me.

They are also not very entitled. I have a cat. Litter, food and water are very inexpensive. I get cuddles all the time from my cat as she is Siamese.

My cat also wouldn't marry an ass who works the cat to death while the human plays video games and buys 2 BMW's while deeply in debt.

Pets are so much better.

He felt left out !

OP, you mistakenly assume that ALL people are human with a soul.

The majority of people on this planet are non-souled biological entities with sentience..... but without a soul. They are NPCs, nothing more than zombies animated by Demiurge consciousness.

When you accept this fact, then it will no longer surprise you to see the shit that people do.

That being the case, I wouldn’t give you two turds for most people, because most of them are nothing more than organic portals.

The ones who actually show empathy, care, love and concern for others are souled humans that I will go out of my way for.

People are jerks.

I care far more for my pets than I do most people. I curse in my heart and mind anyone who hurts an animal for any reason. If I see abuse, I stop it, I have banned people, even family members from my home or acquaintance if they hurt animals.

I understand hunting. I understand killing. I understand slaughter.

The lives they live need kindness and gentleness. They should be cared for and fed and watered. When they are killed it must be quick and as gently as possible.

People who hurt animals should be hurt in the same way. I wouldn't raise a finger to stop it.

Why? Because their souls are the same as our souls. We all go back Into the light, the same eternal light when we die. We all live many lives over and over again. I have been animals before and my cat has been human before. We choose our living adventures. Long standing soul mates, or best friends down thru history, whatever. To cause pain in the most innocent of creatures is a sin, an offense that will be punished in the Karma of your future existence.

I wish any person who causes pain, hunger, or thirst to any animal the curse of mental illness, the curse of self hatred and the suffering that goes with it. You knew better.

I just find it strange that when people are posed this question that the seemingly auto response is an attack on how bad humans are.

It’s like everyone can remember almost every single interaction with a human like there are multilayered scars built up in their minds and an automatic backlash begins.

Also when I state people, children should be mixed into the equation too. I mean maybe the question was posed in too much of a general sense but there are many children out there who still maintain their innocence as well...

And most people I believe were born with good will, it’s more of their surroundings, I believe that shapes them to be bad.

Yes. These are reasons why they are worthy of Love and respect.
Many humans abuse their abilities and cause harm and pain.
Why should I prefer a person like that over my pets ?

I totally agree and while I do love animals and I know we have to take care of them, they are ANIMALS....

Many people today do value their pets and treat them better than humans and its sick... they will kill you over an animal. It's insane. Everyone has gone insane.

In general its crazy but yet many humans are pieces of crap so I see both sides of the coin...

And I've had the experience that when I talk about helping an animal or my appreciation of them,
Some people will jump on me and try to shame me for such sentiment, accusingly saying, "Well what about the children? What about needy people>>>?"
As if my concern for the animal kingdom somehow prevents me from caring for people, lol.
It's like they don't want me to care for animals for some reason...kind of strange and twisted for them to get triggered like that.
