I wasn't going to post until I saw the Idaho post...

Montana. I'm sitting here in the dark for a few hours now with a power outage. The electric company says a car hit a pole just 1/4 mile past my home. Problem is, there have been no sirens, emergency responders or traffic that has gone by, none!

They also said they have to replace the pole. No trucks have gone by either. I live in the middle of nowhere just off a pitch black highway and can see and hear what goes by.

What the heck?

Yeah, I got that as well, it just grated on me hearing her shout "BOY! BOY! GIRL! GIRL!" all the time... just name them already!

Interestingly enough, we lost power, briefly, in South Central Texas last night a bit after 8pm. No bright flashes that I saw, but it was cloudy and rainy.

It is clearly NOT a Transformer explosion. I hear for the first time ever a transformer explosion could light up the sky of a big city as New York, in such a color. Transformer explosions do occur, although not everyday, and they did occur MANY TIMES since the beginning TV era. Never ever was it reported like that. If it was, please someone let show some old footage.

As far as the aliens go, it seems you are predetermined they are NOT Aliens because they CANNOT be Aliens. And your religious avatar proves it all. I am religious too. And I believe THEY do exist because otherwise God would be TOO SMALL by choosing only ONE planet among TRILLIONS for His plans. Or all the others are DEMONS in your view maybe.

I don't think transformer explosion caused it.
It looked like ionosphere was energized, something like Nikola Tesla did in early 1900`s.
It required lots of energy and that took the transformer out.
Transformer explosion would be just one bright spot, not turning night into day across entire Queess for over 5 minutes.

The NYPD says it was caused by a transformer explosion but the energy company has yet to release a statement.
