Re: Trump Scores, Breaks Generals’ 50-Year War Record
The generals were probably pissed off and we’re like do you know how many kids we had to gas via our proxy insurgent groups to gain access to Syria! Trump should pull out of the entire Middle East as well as Korea. There is no benefit for us to be there, Koreans give us no special trade preferences or deals or pay for us to stay as their body guards, neither does japan or Germany. Pull our troops, build a wall and rearm our military for when the rest of the world collapses we will watch on in amusement rich in our assets and safe behind our immense military and technological defenses.

The nations we should be ducking with are in central and South America where we are connected. Where they are producing drugs that are killing 70,000 Americans each year. We should screw China over and make Mexico a strong ally and get many of our corporations to move back home or to Mexico. Canada and Mexico should be our buffer, the rest of the world can get fawked or get nuked. It’s not our problem

No, we shouldn’t pull out of Korea, Japan, and Germany. I’m ok with Trump getting our troops out of quagmires in the Middle East, but defending strategic allies is a must. The Norks, Chicoms, and Russkies would be very happy if we pulled out of those areas and would see an opportunity to attack the region’s democracies. We don’t want to give an inch to our enemies. At the same time we can use the troops we get out of Syria and Afghanistan to beef up the homeland’s defense and defend the border. That’s what a sensible middleground would be.

It's not our job to be the world's policeman.

This is true, yet if we pull out of key areas; Who will take our place???

The Chinese and Russians are very eager to gain new territory. They have proven it...

If we close our bases overseas, then we will be logistically weaker. We could be attacked easier...

Remember, weapons of mass destruction are the last resort and not the first response. We want the ability to respond to a crisis area, very quickly, using conventional means. That is why we have many bases around the world...

Who will take our place? Those responsible for defense of their nation. If they can't do it, sucks to be them.

How in the hell would we be logistically weaker by closing overseas bases? How would we be attacked easier?? We are logistically weaker by having half of our military spread across the globe rather than stationed here.

Our logistical weakness is a set of porous borders which allows those with ill intent to come in and set up sleeper cells. Ensuring both our Northern and Southern borders are locked up tight would be step 1 towards ensuring a fortified nation. Our Western and Eastern borders happen to be two vast bodies of water which make it far more difficult to infiltrate.

As long as we maintain the integrity of the US, nobody is going to fuck with us. All are aware of mutually assured destruction should someone be so foolish to engage us with WMDs.

The thought of someone attacking us via a ground effort is preposterous as the Japanese knew back in WW2. There is a rifle behind every blade of grass.

It's LONG past time to stop following the PNAC agenda and start following the strategy as laid out by Jefferson, Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.

Trump is wise enough to realize that our "allies" use and abuse us. It's time to stop the gravy train of taxpayer money and let them fend for themselves.

Something thought about the other day. We are mire vulnerable to EMP if we have all of our military onsite instead of sprrad out. If we are spread out we can still respond so it has the mutually assurrd distructionbgactor. We csn rrdpond back in force and rrspond quickly.
