When I got swine flu a few years ago there was an epidemic of it here on the coast of California and it killed over 150 people, many of whom were younger than me (I was 41 at the time). Nurse here, worked hospitals for 25 years. I would see people come in with pneumonia within 24 hours of contracting flu and die from swimming in their own fluids....I saw it a great deal. Even young healthy men and women. Pneumonia kills people secondary to flu as does viral meningitis. Seems she had meningitis as well. Just a classic case of cytokine storm.
