So true, Paul worshipers are not under the old covenant. In Jesus's name. Amen

As for me, I'll stick with the original and obey his commands.

But you already broke all of the law, are you ready to pay for you breaking the law over and over?
Or will you look for a substitute?

That's where God the Son comes in, the substitute for you breaking the law. You do not possess the payment for your crimes, because the payment for your crimes is eternal death.

So you going to ask Jesus to pay for your crimes or will you pay for them yourself?
We already know you're a sinner (law breaker), if you say you're not we'll just ask the people that know you, they will tell us about many of the times that you broke the law.

So you going to pay for your crimes or ask for the sin offering offered for you?

Choose wisely. It's all yours to make, now you're on the spot though. Same goes for OP and the rest of the law boys and gals.

Seems to many of us that there must have been several different OT gods--many of whom were not Good, not full of Love and Truth.

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. 1 John says "God is Love."
The OT "god" is variously Jealous and changeable and vindictive.

(Peter)Acts 10:9-16 King James Version (KJV)
9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

The law of God states,

Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.

4 These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,

5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.

6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.

7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.

8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.

Why don't you listen to the Prophet Jeremiah?

Why do you reject and kill the Prophets of God?
[Just like you killed Messiah]

Jeremiah 31:31-34

“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,

This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the LORD.

“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

Why are you remembering sins when God has forgiven them?

Its really very simple...the law reveals the always prevalent sin, the sin reveals the need for a savior,

the Savior came and accomplished victory over both the law and sin , The savior is Jesus...Jesus is standing in the gap (for you) if you chose to accept Him and believe and let him present you the Good news.
I do exist, I'm pretty sure :)

Jesus is literally where the story begins and where it also ends.

There is no way to God except with Jesus Christ.

That's acknowledging our righteousness alone is not enough to withstand the presence of our God. He is an all consuming fire.

Even the heavens and the earth are to be burned up in His fervent heat, but God's words never will.

That's why the prophecy in Jeremiah was so important, God would write His words and laws onto our hearts and into our minds so we could withstand the Awesome Day of God Almighty.

He's not just going to partially be revealed, He will be revealed in all His glory, praise God!

If we go by the law for our righteousness, then our story starts and stops with Moses, and because Moses was the prophet of the law, and the power of sin is the law, but the power of God is Christ for atonement.

If your prophet is Moses, the law, he will be your accuser.

If your prophet was Jesus, He is also your savior, God, and King, and can liberate you from all unrighteousness and give you a new everything according to the spirit that lives within you, your soul.

Jesus came to give life and life more abundandly.

The more sin is committed, and the more false gods are used over genuine acts of humanity, the more we slip into lawlessness.

The more we draw into love, charity, good-will, yes, even God, the more humanity gets close to dawning upon a new day for everone.

Every person is given a measure of faith...

Rom 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

according to your statement/belief all men are righteous....NOT SO!

Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

You idiots don't even understand. You just want it all without actually doing anything!

You are farcical!

You have to use the poetic sense of an artist, an illustrator, a creator, and his compassion that the human race is fallen, but she is still beautiful in her ways.

All men are innocent.

And yet also, all men are guilty.

There is not one that is righteous.

It's all to develop the lens by which you view the world.

A beautiful hurting world that needs compassion and charity.

Or a decaying planet plagued by viruses and plagues.
