When my daughter was very little I told her, there is something very important that you must understand about me

Do NOT ever lie to me.

There may come times in our lives, that you say something to me, that I do not like, and I am hurt or upset. That is okay. That is my emotions and I am allowed to have my emotions.

However, if you ever lie to me, I will never trust you again.

I have NEVER known my daughter to tell one lie in her life. And she shares much with me, and sometimes we do not agree, and we laugh, and say, okay, agree to disagree on that.
