So, he talks of this Middle Place where they are truly dead, and this place is also referenced in Revelation 17 and 18, and the second half of Romans Chapter 1. This is the Middle of Abominations and Perversity and Murders and Robbers and those who make themselves into animal forms.

The other two sides are Extremities of "Religion"

We looked at many different religions in 2008, from Christianity to Satanism. So, on one hand you have the extreme good aspect, where they do NOT harm others, where there is love and civilized behavior in all of these, in all religions. However, the extremity of this, is too much love, and allowing oneself to be a martyr for evil people. Not having any sense of dignity or self defense in oneself to stop and defend oneself from evil people.

On the other side you have the extremity of the Religion, in which they become vindictive and ruthless and barbaric. Where they can NOT co-exist with one another. Where they claim their ONE BOOK is the only Truth that exists and they are the only Children God ever had. So, in this aspect you see the minds go reprobate as well, and worse than cavemen.

But, you see, in the Gospel of Phillip, that he says the Middle is Truly the Dead and Death. I also feel that this may also tie into Christ saying, I would prefer you were either Hot or Cold, but since you are Lukewarm, I will spew you out of my mouth.

You find the ones in the Middle, have NO conscience at all. They simply do NOT CARE, as Steve so aptly summed them up.
