REPORT : Carbon dioxide hits a level not seen for 3 million years.
On Saturday, sensors at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii indicated that concentrations of the greenhouse gas — a byproduct of the burning of fossil fuels — had reached 415 parts per million (ppm), meaning that for every 1 million molecules of gas in the atmosphere, 415 were of carbon dioxide.

The level of CO2 in the atmosphere has risen an average of 2.5 ppm per year over the past decade, reaching 400 ppm in 2013 — and the level appears likely to go higher from here.

In the latest bit of bad news for a planet beset by climate change, the concentration of carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere has climbed to a level last seen more than 3 million years ago — before humans even appeared on the rocky ball we call home.

We were very blessed today

The neighbor came over to ask for a favor to use our side yard to dump some material for a project because it would have cost him more if he would have had to get smaller loads and we were like sure, no problem

And Krystal came in, there was a Robin egg on the driveway and we could not locate a nest so we just put it inside under a heat lamp, and will have to figure out what to do when the baby emerges


We have counted six wild kitten grandchildren and have been delighting in them. The mothers keep bringing them to the porch, so they obviously want us involved.

I named the little black one that Krystal had already touched and blessed "Bast" because I said it to her and she answered and ran over to me. I petted her and held her for a little while, and she is already trying to talk, I am so proud of her.

Krystal passed Calculus II and really aced her other classes, and so we broke our healthy eating to go and have pancakes today in celebration for a good job and lots of hard work this past semester.

I had not been dieting yet again or exercising yet, as you know, I have been so tired, but I was happy to find that just trying to maintain what I had already lost, I had lost another 10 pounds from my last Dr's visit a few weeks ago.

Very happy about this, I really need for certain things in my life, and one is a very clean and orderly house, and the other is to be at my correct weight and in good shape.

Very blessed day for us, so thankful to Father for the good care HE always gives us.

I had a friend there, who was always an independent hard working woman, and then suddenly for years now, she just decided she would do nothing with her life at all, but live out of her car and on the street with the homeless, who she says are her real friends. She will NOT do anything to change her situation, she seems very happy and content living like this.
