I can think of a few reasons you do not see this as the truth...

It gives credit where none is due to a people who get off on causing terror.
It can cause anger and hate to be stoked in the communities also fear and retaliation. My prayers are with this guy this is just bad all around. I hope he survives without too much life changing issues from this.
