it's true, we die and bugs eat us. same as the other animals on this planet.

people are forgotten by other people.

but you're operating on the pretense that this is all there is, based on a severely limited perspective.

instead of acknowledging your own insignificance and taking arrogance in that as some kind of absolute truth.

consider your insignificance an indication of your ignorance. the simple fact is you don't know what happens after your body dies.

seems like you would eventually have to acknowledge too the significance of this place, and all of it's life.

but i think you would rather there be no significance to life, so it makes it more comforable to wade through it in apathy.
