seems like you would eventually have to acknowledge too the significance of this place, and all of it's life.

but i think you would rather there be no significance to life, so it makes it more comforable to wade through it in apathy.

Looking at how we behave I would have a very hard time believing that.

Yes only going somewhere as a tasty memory. An example what about all those eggs, hamburgers and pigs we ate?
The only memory the maggots will have of us when we are dead is how tasty we were just like the chicken eggs, hamburgers and bacon was to us.

We are not that special folks and in 50 to 73 years we will just be a memory like our grand parents and great grand parents.

That is just them. People don't even want to remember about grandparents grand parents.

so what if someone's memory doesn't go on. if that person has a child, every thing they and all ancestors before them experienced, will live on as a genetic memory.

not something you can recall in your conscious mind. but something your body will innately remember as a method for survival.

it's not about remember a individual after they're gone, but building something that will last when many are gone.

what do you think western society is?

this place is just a plane. what happens here, is happening on a greater and lesser scale, elsewhere. we're just a metaphore. as above so below. where we go? who knows. but i know while we're here, we should fight for rightousness, and try to win.

We have Spirit. Animals do not. Hence why they operate on pure instinct and lack free will and morality. Such gifts come from Spirit and only humans have them on Earth. We aren't just 'more evolved', we have a transdimensional connection to the Divine.

If you want to lower yourself to the levels of animals, go ahead and act like one. I know where I stand, at least.

Those with spirit have self-awareness, free will, empathy, discernment, morality, conscience, etc. Animals have not shown any such characteristics.

My post is more aimed at the 50 and plus year old crowd who is fretting. Mostly this crowd don't realize like how quickly their importance is ending. They maybe got 10 years left of productivity than off to the nursing home when they can't wipe their our own ass. Worst for the so called superior men when they become so old and ugly not even a women their own age don't want them, hence why women live longer as most of the women can settle and adapt in being a grandma than the old dude who all is life dominated gets replaced by the better looking and faster 25 year old buck.

We should be told life expectancy is 75, not 100.
First 25 growing up.
Second 25 making money.
Third 25 preparing for our deaths, unfortunately most of GLP members our over 50 and in the third stage and no one told them that the next 25 years will suck so they are shocked they will die. Not could die but the majority will die. That is why the anger amongst this group. They thought they were special and would stay young and live forever. Now ther clock is ticking.

Baby boomers and generation X are now getting old. They are now going to experience what WW2 and Great Depression parents experienced. Baby boomers and Gen X never could fathom that they would get old and (gasp) die like every generation before them! Now they are finding out they will die like every generation before them and they are not so special. That is why all this age group is really angry.
They can't let go.

So how do you explain shadow people that millions encounter, near death experiences, spiritual experiences, angelic visitations, prophecy that comes true? Monkeys have spirits too.
