So we'll have to volunteer to clean up trash at national parks and TSA will allow terrorists to board planes because they all went home sick because they will not get paid starting next Friday.

Wall is going to be built, Mexicans will build tunnels like they did before.

Ebola is in Sweden, and hospital in Malmo was on ebola alert.

Stock market is being propped up by US bankers who are pulling out their emergency back up plan to save the economy.

King Salman is dead and his exiled brother is favored for the throne... over MbS, while Qatar is going to occupy Yemen strategic island.

so... no doom.

This video was shot in late October, but in the final several minutes, he actually says "...maybe it's time to bring our boys home" because we are likely facing a new WW that we cannot win against the new EMP weaponry [such as Magrav - that nasty little Iranian-tech that has already been tested several times against our USN ships, including an Aircraft Carrier].

And today, we not only have the boys coming home from Syria and Afghanistan but also have 10 of our 11 USN carrier groups currently in dry dock or home port!

Let's all hope this brilliant man isn't as prophetic as he seems!!! I'm already watching more vids from this guy.

Remember, you can make safe water with Bleach (unscented).

But remember that bleach goes stale and looses its oomph after a while.

1 Capful of bleach per gallon, let it sit 24 hours and offgas the chlorine. Then you can drink it.

You can also use pool chemicals

from the EPA:

You can use granular calcium hypochlorite (which will not go stale) to disinfect water.

Add and dissolve one heaping teaspoon of high-test granular calcium hypochlorite (approximately ¼ ounce) for each two gallons of water, or 5 milliliters (approximately 7 grams) per 7.5 liters of water.

The mixture will produce a stock chlorine solution of approximately 500 milligrams per liter, since the calcium hypochlorite has available chlorine equal to 70 percent of its weight.

To disinfect water, add the chlorine solution in the ratio of one part of chlorine solution to each 100 parts of water to be treated. This is roughly equal to adding 1 pint (16 ounces) of stock chlorine to each 12.5 gallons of water or (approximately ½ liter to 50 liters of water) to be disinfected.

To remove any objectionable chlorine odor, aerate the disinfected water by pouring it back and forth from one clean container to another.


Pick up a 1 lb bag of this stuff and store it for emergency stuff.

I just submitted an online request with my local electrical utility {WESTAR ENGERGY] asking them what they are doing to harden their service facilities against an EMP.

It'll be interesting to see how they respond!

Actually, we've posted back and forth many times over the years---- you were on the west side of Wichita and I'm [still] out here next to McConnell. I think the last time our paths crossed was when we had a sporadic swarm of EQ's a few years back... or, was it when the West Kellogg WalMart had a bunch of weird storage units parked around their store... for purposes unknown?

Had a real hair-raiser last week about six blocks away. Two dead bodies were found in a blazing car at the rarely-used 31st St gate to McConnell. It's the same gate GW Bush zoomed out of when he breezed in to visit the destroyed town of Greenwood. I was waiting at the next intersection ready with my upside down flag -a solitary protestor among a sea of Sheriff's Deputies and WPD who were all quite nice to me. Bush probably didn't see me since that motorcade whizzed through the intersection doing about 80. But, I tried!

My guess on the torching incident is that it was a murder-suicide. I'll have to followup on that one!

UPDATE: Well, that didn't take long! It happened New Year's Eve and involved to young guys who crashed. That stretch of roadway isn't very well-lit at night [it's actually just about 1/2 block E of the gate to the Kansas Aviation Museum], they were loaded and BAM! End of story. That's one STURDY gate, though!

A G1 wouldn't do a grid take down. Maybe Dr Pry has other info. Possible attack, or NOAA is downplaying the storm tonight and tomorrow.

Or maybe the Doc's cheese slipped off his cracker? I don't know.

What I do know is it is better to prepare and have nothing happen than ignore it and have something happen. Don't max out your credit cards or anything, but get water and food, etc in place. As best you can anyway.
