Geomagnetic Storm Watch
A coronal hole solar wind stream is expected to reach Earth within the next 24-48 hours. An isolated period of minor (G1) geomagntic storming is in the forecast for late January 4th and into January 5th. High latitude sky watchers should be alert for visible aurora this weekend."
Quoting: akasuzanne Right. I think solarham gets their info from NOAA and other agencies around the world. A G1 wouldn't do a grid take down. Maybe Dr Pry has other info. Possible attack, or NOAA is downplaying the storm tonight and tomorrow. Or maybe the Doc's cheese slipped off his cracker? I don't know. What I do know is it is better to prepare and have nothing happen than ignore it and have something happen. Don't max out your credit cards or anything, but get water and food, etc in place. As best you can anyway. I believe his concern lies with bad actors using EMP weapons. Maybe the rash of Navy vessel and military aircraft crashes were caused by EMP weapons.
