Wtf is a birdbox??

I do NOT recommend watching this movie...

I did so mistaking it for some type of sci-fi...

****SPOILER ALERT:

The movie begins with the main character who is pregnant, something is happening more and more that many are talking about - people are beginning to act crazy, and kill themselves, but nobody is yet sure what is going on. It spreads, and she ends up hiding out in a house with other refugees, with the windows covered. People don't go outside, because if you look at these "demonic evil entities", which are supposedly horrible to look at, the person's irises change and they immediately impose upon themselves whatever horrible death is available, as if that has become a better alternative to what they have been exposed to.

She got to a random house nearby, after her close friend (or lover? hard to tell) is driving along with the two of them in the car, and her friend gets that nutty look in her eye and wrecks the car on purpose.

There are also evil crazy people who are escaping from insane asylums and prisons, who are immune to the effect of the entities, and instead, go looking for others and try to force their eyes open so they will give in to the evil and die. They want them to look because they think it is "so beautiful". Homicidal maniacs.

The movie vacillates between the current time, when she is on a river with Girl and Boy, as they are called, on a boat, all blindfolded, and the past, when she was locked in the house with the others, which include another pregnant woman who shows up. They have a box with them with birds in it. The birds go nutty when one of the entities is near, which is good to know, because you cannot really open your eyes. People who establish a place to hide out put up ropes to follow to get to water sources, or outside buildings, so as to not have to risk looking.

An evil man gains access to the safe house earlier in the story, convincing them he has narrowly escaped the crazy people. Turns out he is one of them, and he ends up tearing the blinds off the windows, and many people immediately off themselves. This happens just after she, and the other pregnant woman, both just gave birth. She won't look at the outdoors, but the pregnant woman ends up possessed by the "change" and is about to fly out the second story window. After some convincing, she gives the baby to Sandra Bullock, and so now she has the two infants, Boy and Girl. Earlier she had promised to take care of the woman's baby if anything happened. She ends up with a man who she travels with, until the entities get him, too.

At the end of the story, they finally get down the river, where she has heard there is a good hiding place/refuge with others there hiding out. As they get off the boat, the entities become more insistent, talking to the children in a false voice, telling them to remove their blindfolds, which they almost do, as they stumble through the woods, disoriented.

Finally, they get to the safe house in the woods, which turns out to be a school for the blind. They are able to find it by following the sound of the many birds in the school's courtyard aviary.

After watching this bizarre, dark movie, I turned off the TV, not feeling particularly spooked, mostly stunned. Then I began to feel something evil in my home, like seriously evil, possibly even more than one. I began to rebuke it with the blood of Jesus and the usual things I do when I have sensed such things. I have many gifts, won't go into it, but it was definitely abnormal. I've been warning others who wish to avoid such things, to not view the movie.

Good thing I was going to watch it and something stopped me from watching that garbage. Now I know for sure will never watch it.

Come to think about it, maybe the writer(s) are reading GLP threads about the "3 days of darkness". You know the ones saying stay indoors, cover all your windows, don't look outside no matter what and use a 'special candle' for light.

Always were interesting plots people could use here since there were so many roleplayers and trolls but also legit crazy people with some interesting ideas.

What is it about demons? I thought it was about Trump and that was all the Democrats running from him and killing themselves because he got reelected.

Birdbox left me shocked and dismayed that Sandra Bullock is no longer the hotty she was 20 years ago.

I will survive.
