Tar content of ANY smoking material can be easily moderated if you use a water pipe [Bong, Hookah, etc.] or other filtering device, which dramatically reduces any potentially harmful components present in the smoke. That filtering also makes the smoke ALOT more smooth... the same principle that distillers use when making their top-shelf Whiskies.

I roll all my joints with Cotton [not cellulose] filters and I've fitted all of my pipes to use them as well - and, they only cost about a penny each. The BEST use left for a Penny these days!!

I just wish I could still find Activated-Charcoal cigarette filters. Back in the 60's during the "cigarette wars" they were all the rage.
