I would guess the following things:

1. You go to work as usual to earn a living for your family.
2. You pay your bills, cut your grass, pet your dog as usual.
3. You go to the grocery store and buy your typical ration plus maybe a little extra because you always prepare for emergencies.
4. You fill up the extra gas cans and propane tanks.
5. You stop by the gun store and buy your typical bricks of ammo and shoot the shit with Bob.
6. You plan your next family vacation, review your savings and investments, and go to PTA meetings to find out why your kid is only getting a B average.
7. You log in to GLP to get minute my minute news about Russian fag bots influencing the 2020 election.

That would be the jist of it.

I also believe the ancient Greeks knew of what they spoke of regarding democracies degenerating into a dictatorship. The people will welcome an effective leader because they tire of the incompetence of politicians. In due time, it will happen in the USA.

It should be viewed as some kind of sin to allow every moran under the Sun to vote.

We have been in one our whole lives so its hard to say.

Actually, it's been since March of 1933. Except for a few days in 1976 when the name was changed. But nothing should change for most of us. The gov't shut down will affect some people, but not all.

This is all optics...except for the potential dismissal of Congress. That's a new gig.
