Re: Psychic help please- missing cat
you are typically one of those people that have no life, sit in mommies basement cus they have no money to pay their own rent ... looking for attention cus no one gives it to you cus you are to fat and ugly and a looser in life.

am i right? yes good now go help mommie in the kitchen... of you go...

I sense ... I see ... That he's currently dicking that pretty redhead called Gingerpus from 2 streets down. He's going for a midnight snack after that in the Red Lobster dumpster ... Prolly have to fight off a mangy semi-blind white cat that hangs around the joint ... Then I see him taking a massive shit in the sandbox of a children's playground ...

Wait ... What's that? Oh no! Some old lady is spoiling the little fucker with tuna from a can! Fattie Cattie boom boom!

YES! We have a front porch and a thicket of trees/woods to one side which we have searched heavily. We’ve put out wet food, his litterbox, blankets, etc. why is he not coming home?
 Quoting: CelesteBlue

I could be wrong so I don't want to get your hopes up, but I get the sense he ran out of the house chasing something and wasn't paying attention to where he was going and ended up in that thicket area. I think he's still out there within sight of the house but is too scared to come out. He's an indoor cat right, not used to being out? He really over did it, went past his own confidence. I get the sense of him croached out there and just kind of frozen with fear. Keep going out there and calling to him and putting out his food. You might want to keep searching that area specifically. It's just so odd, when they get frightened they can get so quiet and they try to freeze so nothing can see them. I don't think there's anything dangerous to him in those woods.

Also try sitting and clear your mind, focus him in your mind and talk to him, tell him you want to bring him home and have him be warm and happy and full. Picture feeding him and giving him water and telling him what a good boy he is but he needs to speak up so you know where he is. Keep looking I think you will find him. Good luck! Let us know. I'll pray for you both.

You are an Angel! We placed another litter box in our back yard. I will keep you posted- we are trying to stay positive.
 Quoting: CelesteBlue

You're welcome! I hope it helps, I'm sure many other posters are praying for you and your kitty too :) I do think you'll find him, keep up the thoughts to him and the prayers.

Praying for your Plumpy. Good litter box out is number one. If possible crack back sliding door near where you are so he has free access inside. Picture him home safe.

I'm trying to see if I can pick up anything. I think he ran outside and was chasing something, maybe a bird. Do you have a porch in the front of your house? also to the left of the house is a small thicket of woods or heavy bushes? I think some trees there too?

how old and sick is he, sometimes a male cat will go to a secluded place to pass away, hope not though

He is 9 and was playing like a kitten the other day. Kidney failure is well controlled with wet food and luckily he drinks a lot of water. Thank you for asking.

Thank you for your prayers. Btw I love wolves. Sliding door may be wise as we have another cat- Coolie. There is a fence line between our back yard and the house Nextdoor- then the wooded/ thicket area. Trees on all sides.

friend has a fat tuxedo cat too, i guess yours is fat because of the name. i get the loyal dog part, if it's like my friend's.

good luck with the cat. go for a walk around the block and listen for his collar/tags/bells noise if he has anything like that.
 Quoting: lawnornament

Than you. He is thin but my son named him Plump Bump because of his sagging gut. We’ve scoured the perimeter but think he is terrified and hiding near the house.

A friend in Chicago had a cat that slipped out last winter.

After almost a week of frigid temps they found him alive in the bushes on their property.

Re: Psychic help please- missing cat
Aren't cats supposed to be free-roaming predators? Why lock that poor animal up in a dungeon 24/7 when all it wants is to go on adventures, to hunt, fight and fuck?

That fellah is having the time of his life. Let it be. He'll come back if he wants to. If not, well, then you'll know you shouldn't have shut him in like a convict being condemned to breathe your family's dandruff 365 days a year until death.

Go kitty! Run! Run and never look back!
 Quoting: Bing Bong Lee

Agree. Hopefully he isn't declawed. Cats are predators, you can't keep them caged.

He is better off now.

Re: Psychic help please- missing cat
Mrs. Louis' formerly feral cat ran out an open door months ago.

He was gone a week!!!

I finally saw him 200 feet away, frightened in a neighbor's yard, unwilling to pass their dog to come home.

I called to him and let him see me open a tuna can for him; placed inside the open back door he soon was inside eating.

I hope your baby is back home soon. No house is a home unless it has a cat.

I am sorry about the mean posters, OP. I love cats and would be devastated if I lost mine. I have heard over time, reading blogs of Pet Detectives, etc. that cats seldom go more than five houses away in any direction and if you go out very late at night like 3 a.m. and call his name, he might come out. A critter trap ( hava-heart trap is what we used to call them in animal rescue) with a open can of tuna fish, might be good too, but be prepared to accidentally capture a racoon, etc. if you dont get your cat. Good luck to you....he is scared and I believe that this person here has some good tips....keep us posted for Plumpy, I sure hope he comes home soon.

Wonderful news!!

My 'pet feral cat', Mr. Blackwell sends his regards as well!

Sometimes you just need to leave a door open for them and something they use or eat available.

I'm sorry you were made to suffer unneeded fear of his loss via insensitive responses by truly thoughtless people whose lives are so bereft of joy that they derive it in the misfortune of others.

Re: Psychic help please- missing cat
OP if he was close to death he most likely went off to die, honey.
they do that if they arent kept in a house.
they will go find a spot off somewhere and just go.

kidney trouble will kill cats fast.
for my cat, it was all the ASH in the dry cat food that caused it.
an all dry food diet will absolutely destroy their kidneys.
crystals form inside and it cuts them up, its very painful.

id certainly go looking for him but i would not expect him to be alive.
im sorry for your loss.
send your love to him when you think of him, dont send your pain.
send the good stuff.
and know that you will see him again in the future.

good luck.

Hi Rob2-
Thank you for your post. He came home last night at 1:30- Hallelujah. He is doing great for a lymphoma/kidney disease kitkat--almost 5 years post treatment. We are so glad to have our Plumpy back home. I think he discovered the great outdoors is not so great!
