Kinda like comedy, just without the humor, while a screaming SNL used-to-be emcees the whole mess.

I'm so glad I stopped watching television two years ago. Looking at clips like this, it's strange to think of all the money, production, electricians, stage-hands, and time put into these shows when the final result is just pure garbage not worth seeing.
