9pm? That seems late for an address.
Quoting: Deplorable Paw of Oak Some networks seem to want their FCC broadcasting licenses revoked: "At least TWO major networks still deliberating – skepticism about handing over airwaves for political statement" . I've NEVER heard of a TV station being able to do that!!!! I remember seeing TV addresses by Reagan, Obama, Bush 1 and 2, and about the only channel that they wouldn't be on would be one like Hallmark or TVLand (which didn't exist during most of all those years so yes, for a few minutes the President would be on EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL). Then afterwards they'd have someone from the opposite party come on to give a rebuttal or comment about the speech.
