I saw a link somewhere that there are 28 active national emergencies of various types in the US.

There's only been 31 national emergencies declared since Congress passed the National Emergencies Act in 1976. If Trump declare it, it will be 32.

I'm glad it's not that 33 number.

The 33 is being saved for when a Democrat takes office and declares a "National Emergency" over gun crime and writes an executive order to ban them the same way Trump is about to do to build this wall.

That is a good point and a scary thought . I've always thought that Barack obama and his 20 trillion in debt along w all the pillaging of our country was a direct result of the rhinos (bush/Cheney, industrial complex) getting their infinite wars . I think U are certainly correct god help us .
