The answer to that question is more than a simple yes or no. Christ fulfilled the Old Covenant. The principles still stand but practices have been abolished.
Doesn't anybody feel that all these killers should be killed, and all these healers should be healed, so all of these beggars can be filled...

Watchman Nee and Witness Lee... Longtime since I've heard or read of those guys. A cult of personality developed around them. The witness was very "gentle". Rather like reading Paul's Epistles.

Nothing "gentle" about my witness. I was TOLD To TELL It, and I've never held back. I'm not sure why there's so little written about Giving Your Life To God. Maybe it relates back to Jesus' Witness in Matt 16:13-20 where HE Asks The Apostles: "WHO Do You Say I AM?" and only Simon Barjona KNOWS. Jesus Marvels and States that ONLY The Father Could Have Put That Knowledge Upon Peter's heart... In verse 20 HE Cautions them not to reveal to others that HE IS The Christ.

It's THIS Knowledge, OF WHO HE IS, that Jesus Says is "the rock" (foundation) Upon Which I Build MY Church...

IF you KNOW WHO Christ Jesus IS, then it's Because Father-God Has Called your heart....

Laodicea is very alienated from God. Plain to see in all the reprobate worship and failures Laodiceans Seek To Validate. Witness is not some form of impressionistic painting or a fantasy novel. Coming Unto The Father happens The Same Way for every Born-Again and Living their life In and With The Holy Trinity is also essentially The Same. God The Holy Spirit WHO Abides Within each Born-Again Gives Us Witness when we encounter other Born-Agains, even if we only encounter them by speech or reading.

In Matt 22 there's a wedding-crasher who has no Wedding Garment. Father Asks HIM "Friend, how come ye hither with no Wedding Garment?" Friend, Jesus Says, is Speechless...

Father Instructs HIS Servants to "bind him hand and foot and throw him into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!"

Our Born-Again Heart is our Wedding Garment... Got one?

In Luke 13:22-28 an interloper is discovered in Heaven. Father disposes of him the same way, also remarking how tragic to be removed after having seen the Angels and Prophets...

Laodicean Christians have been educated to believe that they need to "understand and approve" of God's Plan before anything else. Their Teachers/Ministers/Preachers aren't Born-Again themselves so they proffer conjecture and rationalizations as "the lesson".

One Chief Witness of Christ is that we are to Come Unto The Father like a child... Children Trust Totally and Know Nothing of adult concerns... Just as we are in Coming Unto HIM.

Doesn't take much more than 15min to make your surrender by opening your heart Unto The Father.

But why would any reasonable person even consider what some guy writes on a conspiracy forum? He/She wouldn't...

Such is the Laodicean Legacy.

I look at the whole book as God's word.
The Whole Book is the Good Book.
I choose to try and listen to it all.
Even the old laws for the Israelites.
For example, I don't eat pork or bottom feeders.

Well Lester I don't discount anything you say.

As far as Nee is concerned he suffered immensely for his witness in Chinese prisons.

They hated that he converted the guards, just by being in their presence.

He was tortured and refused to denounce Jesus.

If people build themselves around Nee, and he begs them not to, it is on them.

My evaluation of the walk with Christ is that we must experience God, that is what a relationship is. Its personal. if not we are left with head knowledge.

Let me give you two examples, in case I'm not saying this right.

Awhile back a repairman was coming to work on my house, I'd never met the guy before in my life.

I sign an authorization form, and he starts working.

As soon as he's done, I sign again and he scans my card for payment.

I continue standing at the window waiting for him to leave, he is loading his truck. I hear the Lord say "Go talk to him"...

I say Lord I really don't want to, I don't know him, and I don't have anything to say.

But if you want I will do it, you have to give me something for him, because by myself I have nothing to give.

So I walk out, and I just start talking, about issues, and how God is good to me, and I don't deserve it... He tells me he goes to a local church.

All of a sudden, I hear myself say to him, you are controlled by your emotions, and they drive you to do extreme things.

He goes home, and his wife calls, explains how exited he is about what I told him. 3 days later, he runs out on his family. They call again, and say he ran out, and does this when he is driven by fear and other emotions he can't control.

2nd example:

I'm driving, minding my own business.

I have a friend I don't hear from very often, that lives about 2000 miles from me.

I hear the Lord say " I want you to write so and so" I say Lord is it OK if I just call, I write so slow. "OK call then".

I say Lord when I call what am I suppose to say. (I'm not much on chit chat.)

All of a sudden I see a movie in my mind, as if I'm watching a movie on a screen.

I see Jesus walking with 2 disciples (Somehow I know it's before His Crucifixion, so He is their teacher).

One disciple turns to Jesus and says "Lord we have met another teacher, like you, and he also teaches us"

So I call my friend, Tell him all I just told you, he says "that is amazing".... The Lord told me 2 days ago, I sure spend a lot of time reading, but I don't spend anytime with Him. (This friend loves to read the bible, and christian stuff on line).

So I really believe we need to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Re: Do You Believe The Cross Did Away With The Ten Commandments ???
verily if salvation could have been by the law , there would have been no need for another covenant.
Without the law i had no knowledge of sin.
The law was weak in that it could not save.

The law was weak because it legislated righteousness by that written upon table of stone.
Salvation is a changed heart, that follows God because we love him and then he writes those commandments upon the fleshly tables of our heart.

Righteousness cant be legislated, it has to come from the heart.

So there was no "Salvation" in Old Testament times?

Why then were Believers of God, our Father, "seperated out" & away from those who didn't believe, as Jesus' story about Lazarus & the "rich man" AND Enoch shows us?

Thread: Does Enoch Explain the Jesus / Thief "Paradise" & the "Lazarus / Rich Man" Places?

How then did Moses and Elijah appear with Jesus at the Transfiguration?

2nd parts right, believing...Look at the life of almost all the OT people, drinkers, murderers, adulterers, even harlots in Jesus family tree, yet Hebrews calls them people of faith, so the answer is trusting and believing.

Not being judged strictly according to The Law

does not mean disregarding or flouting The Law.

Simple.

Maybe so but I wont add or take away from ANY words in the scriptures. Doing so is twisting and corrupting what is good. That is what Satan does.

The manuscripts used to make the Bible were tampered with as early as the 3rd Century to support the "trinity" doctrine.

The Apostles didn't teach the "trinity".

Look up the history of these verses...

Matthew 28:19
1 John 5:7
1 Timothy 3:16
Acts 17:29
Romans 1:20
Colossians 2:9

Those verses and many others have been tampered with since the original authors wrote their individual "books".

Tertullian, in the early 3rd century, was the first "church leader" who mentioned the "trinity", "though he noted that the majority of the believers in his day found issue with his doctrine"

Matthew 28:19 isn't stated as such in the oldest manuscripts.

Even the Catholics ADMIT that the verse was "changed".

NO OTHER verse about baptism mentions either the Father nor the Holy Ghost.

“They had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 8:16).

“So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ” (Acts 10:48).

“On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 19:5)
