Why does John Witness what he does to Born-Agains in 1st John 2:20 & 27. "But you Have AN Unction From The Holy One and KNOW All Things". and 27: "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."



What matters in Christianity is Answering The Father's Call. IT is the whole purpose, as Jesus Witnesses in Matt 22:1-14.... The Kindom of Heaven is like unto a King WHO Made A Wedding Feast For HIS Son.... This Witness Spells-out The Entire Purpose for Christ's Coming and The Whole Purpose of our lives...



In Ezekiel 36:26-27 Father Witnesses:
26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

This IS The Concise Witness of The Born-Again Life....

God Will Enable You to "Walk in MY Statutes" and "Keep MY Judgments" Living In and With HIM in Conscious Constant Contact... KNOWING and DOING HIS Will... You WILL Be TRUE To Your Love For HIM and not sin.



Christ Witnesses that those who led HIS Innocents astray ought better not to have been born!

The Laodiceans who Teach/Preach/Minister are leading others astray because they never Came Unto The Father... A divinity degree means nothing to God. HE either KNOWS you (because you were Born-Again) or HE Doesn't...

For the not sure vote , Scriptures and Jesus are very clear , Jesus came to fulfill the Law and do His Fathers will.

The 'thou shalt not' ethos of the 10 Commandments is actually pathos. People don't like being told what to do, but what not to do even less.

Exactly, he came to fulfill the law, not abolish it. The only thing that went away were the ordinances. He fulfilled the law when He stated It is finished

Why post conjecture? You aren't Born-Again, therefore you have NO witness; nor do you Receive Witness from The Father or HIS Holy Spirit.


Jesus Confronts this in John 3 in HIS Witness To Nicodemus, a pharisee...
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

St. John Says this in verses 18-19 of 1st John ch 2:
18. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.


If you're not Born-Again, you're "Not Of Us"...

There is no Keeping HIS Statutes or Doing HIS Judgments until Father Has Enabled You To DO So...

Note: Jesus did not say "Give 10% to the Temple each week".

We should not be in this world to accumulate wealth, but to help the poor and do good unto others.

Apparently not following this advice will leave you less than "perfect" in God's eyes.

I cringed the movement I read you were in the thread, because of your holier than thou attitude against others.

It is blatantly obvious that You are equally unworthy with that beam in your eye having singled me out and taken fault with my good intention to promote ethical behavior as demonstrated as part of the perfection of our Savior Jesus Christ.

There is no call for you to persecute me for my good and perfectly reasonable and logical answer.

My point was that those who do wrong are the only ones who should have anything to fear by reason of such.

Jesus said I leave these two commandments

1 Love God above all as your father
2 Love your neighbor as yourself


Under these two commandments are the ten commandments that were given. And to be kept out of Love for God. And out of love for neighbor. The 10 commandments are to be kept through love.

The Laws of the Universe are constant.
The Commandments are based upon them.
Very little of the Bible is actual quotes of Immanuel.
The Quran has many more of them from their "Most Holy" prophet Isa.
I'll not describe the Talmud's lack of quotes from Him.
The cross didn't even "do away" with His works and message of truth, thus I voted NO.
Then there are some who apparently think God himself died on the cross.
Rather confusing until you get them to admit he wasn't "their god."

It has been my experience that, when young and rebellious and trying all of the wrong things, the law will haunt you. If you cannot control yourself, you will be under the law.

Once you begin to put away the 'foolish' things there is grace. With grace comes understanding, with understanding, an humble heart and still mind. And THEN...you begin to LOVE correctly (love is hard work) and let go of unnecessary 'control'.

At least it has happened this way for me. I'm a grandma now. It took a LONG time to go through this process.

I believe the commandments lead to the cross, which leads to grace...which leads to love, which leads to stability, which leads those in need knocking at my door. My turn to help.

But it is a damn, hard journey y'all. Even Jesus would get tired of all the whiners and go hide.

No, what was done away with was the rituals of the law, or handwriting of ordinances. By observance of the law shall no man be justified.

The questions which Paul addresses to the Galatians he addresses unto all: therefore let each one answer for himself. Paul asks, "Are you now made perfect by the flesh?" It is evident that man is not made perfect by the flesh: for flesh cannot fulfil the law. Moreover, man is not justified by the law, neither is the Spirit given by the law; neither is the promise given to Abraham and his seed of or by the law: in no manner or way is man justified by the flesh, which is through the works of the law.

Sorry...but the way I read this...We have 12 Commandments
not 10 Commandments.

Christianity as well as Judaism revolve around the
LAW of the Commandments--so adding these 2 further "Laws"
update the Law...BUT DOES NOT CANCEL IT OUT.

God had Isreal set up monuments a few times. One were the 12 stones at the Jordan River when the people entered into Israel.

There are no commands to not set monuments. But statues or idols are against the ten commandments.

The reason I believe that the ten commandments are still in affect are because of these passages. (Many more as well)

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

But wait...he continues with what loving your neighbor as yourself means...

Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

There's more: Jesus said:

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

"This is the law and the prophets." Even the OT prophets knew this precept.

The law is supposed to written on our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. However...having it written on our hearts and minds has to do with seeking the truth in HIM, with all our hearts minds and strength. As He reveals His truth, it's written on our hearts.

If we're breaking the commandments then we have issues that need to be examined.

Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Every preserved word in the bible is God's word.
