I think now that Ghoulosi and Up-Chuck have had their final say, Trump may go back to a concrete wall instead of slats. You know what? I worked for over 40 years, and had some bosses who were real doozies. But I just kept my head down and DID MY JOB and consequently was privileged to receive a weekly paycheck. I think every member of Congress on BOTH sides ought to be permanently losing their salary for each day the gov't is shut down, and no re-imbursement. Their job is to run the Country, not play silly games, and until they start doing their jobs they don't need to get paid.

Besides, it's not like THEY are going to get hurt by losing a few days' pay - - with a 6-figure income they should have some stashed away for a rainy day.

And you'll notice that the MSM has been mum about the actual percentage of the shut-down. It's only 14 percent, and it is what are called "non-essential workers". That means 86 per cent is still chugging along like always. Pelosi is screaming about "millions" of people not able to pay their mortgages, buy groceries, pay their bills.....so, Nancy, we have "millions" of non-essential Government workers? If they're non-essential, why do we need them at all? As far as paying the bills, this is a very public situation, so I'm sure that if they contact their creditors they can make some sort of payment arrangement since this thing will be over pretty soon now.
