How long have they been staring off and not eating?

Cattle do not graze ceaselessly. They take breaks between grazing to rest and chew cud. Perhaps you caught them during one of those periods?

Our animals are big indicators for things to look out for...

Its been atleast an hour!!

Donkeys are the only ones not sensing it. Or taking a "break".

Plus, it's unusual that all of your cows will be just staring out at the same time...

They are sensing something is up...

I was wondering where you are so I an check nexrad and some different sites for frequencies.

North east texas . About 60 miles east of dallas .

The time i posted the video 5:19 pm central was about 10 minutes after I took the video . If you needed the specific time frame to check what was hapoening at that moment . IF anything was .

What direction are they facing? Is it cold there? My experience is that cows tend to face in such a direction that the sun will hit the side of their body and then turn to allow it to hit the other side to stay warm. Much like a person facing their body towards the sun on a cold day. Also, if they all appear to be looking at something there could be a predator nearby they are watching.

They are facing South . For sure. 100 percent, there line of site on my gps is almost going right over houston area .. not that we can determine something like that using GPS , but ya know, just a guestimate .... someone said a volcano was active down that way in the gulf?

The wind is also blowing south- South/westish.

I didn't see any radar anomalies on Nexrad for the Dallas area. Keep us posted. They look like they are in a trance.

It could be a simple as the cows are facing their ass towards the chilly north wind and their right side to the warm sun.
