You won’t be able to rely on your credit/debit card to make transactions. Instead, you should always have some emergency cash on hand. I recommend having at least 6 to 8 months’ worth of expenses.

Get physically fit

in any SHTF or bug out scenario, it will be the survival of the fittest. In a civil war, there is going to be a lot of fighting and fleeing.

Unlike the first civil war in America, there won’t be rules of engagement. I believe that one side will be going through neighborhoods to loot and to kill. So you will have to fight or flee.
