Eloisa Cavazos good luck trying to get me to believe that people have their house on the fucking border. i'm sure 99.9% of people who live near the border KNOW the problem is massive and support a wall. She's probably earning a nice income working with coyotes and cartel smugglers. Yes and for the meanness and hatred of gringos and "usa". Maybe this way? You know how Americans laugh at how progged socialists are and they can't see it? Even when they agree, they come up with socialist lady answers and you're like "Well, thats one way...."(??!??) That-is-how-blind-you-are-to-how-much-they-hate-you. Every minute, every way, every day. Your head is too "ok" (most) to just be an all day festering anger pile ready to strike at any chance. They can live like that and many do. Thier primary driving motive isn't "serenity" or peace of mind. You can't get your head around it because you have no real frame of reference. You make explanations and excuses and all the pocs are like "are they crazy? Are they trying to be nice??" Its just they-hate-you. You will see. Rather than taking the land the government could simply put an 'easement' on the land which would not take any land from anyone. Quoting: Paul Drake Well at this point President Trump hasn't said a damn thing concerning the parts of land in question, so this is just preemptive whinging, on something Trump hasn't even made a statement, at this point they are only plotting out the land, not one offer of any kind has been made "The government has laid out plans that would cut across private land in the Rio Grande Valley. Those in the way include landowners who have lived in the valley for generations, environmental groups and a 19th century chapel. " See this for example is purposefully biased. They have only plotted out land to know what parts go through private property, that definitely doesn't mean that they are even going to make an offer. Any proof that plans are definitive, any proof the Trump admin is trying to buy land ? No proof they aren't planning easements or just nothing for those who don't want to part with their land. But one thing is for sure, is that no matter what this libtard says, if the land is worth lets say 500k and they get offered let's say 1.2M, they can virtue signal all that want they WILL take that offer. Next you'll see the very same libtards complain that they weren't made an offer, and whining that they're are too many illegals taking over their land , and obviously it will be Trumps fault in their pea brains Last Edited by IwasHere4theCoronaScare on 01/10/2019 12:25 PM Not Turkish, Not muslim ... |

It’s a National Security risk for everyone so they can either take the money and stop bitching or we will take the land either way. The left don’t bitch when the government tried to take the Bundies land and killed people or when they take it for National parks and for preservation so what is the difference. There is not one other than these people are getting paid to oppose and are also probably getting paid by the cartels and the coyotes to use their land. [link to www.apnews.com (secure)] |

Another thought I had: The, now nearly $20M raised for the wall on GFM; maybe that $ can be used to purchase swaths of land along the border to make it easily available for the wall> Land is dirt cheap down there (for obvious reasons), the land can then be gifted to the feds after the wall is constructed so there will be no property tax issues. All they have to do is want to build a new highway, or school or hospital or whatever. About 30 years ago I was forced out of a beautiful 1920's-era apartment building [the place still had Murphy beds and 10" Oak baseboards] because a developer wanted to build a new Hotel. He got the city to buy up the land [about six square city blocks] surrounding the site and then the city gave us all 90 days to move. I was the literally last to leave. Within 6 months that bulding was razed and the empty lot sat there for TWO SOLID YEARS before construction began on the hotel. I wish now I had taken some of the Oak trim with me when I left... Anonymous Coward User ID: 77224507 United States 01/10/2019 02:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | REMEMBER THE ALAMO? Under President Antonio López de Santa Anna, the Mexican government began to shift away from a federalist model. The increasingly dictatorial policies, including the revocation of the Constitution of 1824 in early 1835, incited many federalists to revolt.[6] The border region of Mexican Texas was largely populated by immigrants from the United States. These people were accustomed to a federalist government and to extensive individual rights, and they were quite vocal in their displeasure at Mexico's shift towards centralism.[7] Already suspicious after previous American attempts to purchase Mexican Texas,[8] Mexican authorities blamed much of the Texian unrest on American immigrants, most of whom had made little effort to adapt to the Mexican culture.[9] [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] We have come full circle. Mexico wants Texas back. History shows that Mexico encouraged settlement by Americans in the then, Mexican Texas region, IN HOPES THAT THEY WOULD DRIVE OUT THE American NATIVES who were causing trouble for the Mexicans! When Americans began settling in areas other than what Mexico intended however, their plan fell apart. Nor were American settlers in the region willing to live under a dictatorship. BASICALLY WHAT I SEE GOING ON HERE IS MEXICO WANTS TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA BACK AND DEMOCRATS ARE WILLING TO GIVE REPARATIONS AND CONCESSIONS RATHER THAN FIGHT TO PRESERVE OUR REPUBLIC. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. America isn't for sale at any price, because if it is, then it isn't America any longer. |
