Did my own looking... search "how to test for toxoplasmosis", it's all out there.
Anyone wanting antibody testing for it can search blood testing sites that write you a prescription for testing at a local lab, bypassing the doctor visit.
I've tried one and it went very well. You order and pay for tests on line and just walked in to a lab less than 2 miles away (now located inside a hospital, so I'm less likely to do it again), they draw blood and send the samples out.
You get an e-mail with the results, it's all very interesting.
here's one, for instance...
(it's 67 bucks here, probably a typical price)

Could be a problem for those in certain states..
"Walk-In Lab is prohibited from selling lab tests to residents in the following states:
LabCorp: NY, NJ, RI, MA, MD
Quest Diagnostics: NY, NJ, RI"
Hmmm, you can get toxo from unpasteurized milk.
