1) No border wall, no re-election, no reelection, guaranteed legal and economic destruction of the entire Trump family by angry Dems seeking payback and the complete ruination of the Trump name/brand and his historical branding as a stain on American history by the press and academia.

2) More than half the country ACTIVELY opposes current immigration policies, probably more oppose illegal immigration

3) Democrats have offered nothing in response other than keep the borders open to all comers in perpetuity. There cannot be more than 30%-40% in support of that outcome.

4) The longer the government shutdown continues over an issue the majority of the country support, the more angry the opponents will becomes and the likelihood of rioting protest and destruction will be and the ones associated will be his opponents. Nobody likes a violent mob and the more damage they do the worse the blowback will be in public opinion by normies, especially if it causes them economic or physical pain. And everybody knows that those anti-social elements only have a half life of several weeks until they burn out and quit.

5)If you were a Hollywood casting agent asked to find two people more objectionable, viscerally repulsive and elitist than Chuck and Nancy you would be hard pressed to find them. Their arrogance and disdain for the American people is literally tattooed on their faces and the longer this lasts, the more revulsion they will engender.


6) The single smartest move he can make is to focus like a laser on this until it is a completely sealed deal.
