acquaintances is all it can be
once the wheels are in motion to move beyond acquaintances
there is no reverse gear and no brakes
I will never share the depth of my inner being with someone whom I am not going to be with for the rest of my life
and the other issue with moving beyond acquaintances is
I don't want to burn anyone either
I cannot and will not lead anyone on like that
I'm not saying to see your wife or something as "just friends"

and it's wrong and actually sin to withhold that intimate union within the marriage
it's part of the package deal
you can see it in Genesis where Adam before the fall has his face rubbed in it repeatedly with every pair of animals Male and Female brought to him to be named

The relationship between two married people should be intimate....
But not because of lust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i.e. sexual attraction
That is lust
Which is strictly forbidden in religions, including Catholicism

Sexual attraction is NOT exclusive to the person you marry. Let's acknowledge the truth, ok?
You can be sexually attracted to ANYONE!
That is how prostitutes make money.... off of sexual attraction
So like..... Sexual attraction is not something only felt for the person you marry
So it shouldn't even play a role in anything at all.... in a loving relationship
Sexual attraction is a tool.
A tool which our bodies use to motivate us to reproduce ourselves
It is NOT meant to make you feel good.
Feeling good, sexually, is only meant as a TOOL.... to motivate sexual reproduction!
But people had decided to follow this feel good feeling..... this *animilistic* feel good feeling..... which you can feel for ANYONE... Not just the person you are married to..... and those people are led into relationships doomed to fail.... because they allowed this sexual attraction to guide them into a relationship
And they never even realized it
