The army core of engineers do not need contractors. The idea is to understand which types of deployments are taking place. If the support groups deployed are combat engineers; vuaalaa... Before you call someone out, perhaps you should prepare your due diligence. Just a suggestion...

The Mexicans I've known are generally good people. Not sure if it is relevant or not, but they've been rural and church people for the most part.

The corruption on that side of the border is largely linked to corruption here in our insane welfare offerings and the Deep State for drugs, guns, and human trafficking. As well as their own corrupt officials that profiteer off the people. In effect, US policies have created the border and the welfare problem.

The wall would help Mexicans control their own country...If they go civil war, it will indeed have repercussions here. Just like if we get to that point, it will affect most countries to some degree.

The Army Corp of Engineers doesn't need contractors, dipshit. They can and have trained to build something, and then just go do it.

US Army. Battalion just got pulled from field operations back to base. Not to give to much info the readers digest version is my daughter and her Fiance (who is active duty) are scheduled to be married at the end of March followed by a 1 week honeymoon to Europe both of which are already payed for. As of today she is scrambling to re-schedule these events as he will be unavailable to participate.

Might should have waited a bit to post. You're lecturing people on a site who are probably 80-90% in favor of the wall, and who support your country by similar numbers despite a vocal minority.

To answer your question, though, the reason we haven't built the wall yet is we have a bunch of leftists here who are almost equal in numbers to the rest of us who have been able to thwart it at every turn for decades. Hopefully, that ends soon.
