I don't claim to understand the Mexico "situation", but they are next door neighbors, ands we need to get working with them, intimately, to sort out the problems that are causing this uncontrolled migration.
Something is motivating them to make this massive transition, and we need to help fix it. It's deeper than just "a wall". Being the land of opportunity (and increasingly the land of "freebies") has it's limits.

Well now, I can't wait to see how this plays out.

A week ago someone in Honduras said the numbers were up to 40,000 in the caravan now. I don't know where they are or if they've left for Mexico yet. The people in Tijuana are in a panic. They saw what 5000 illegals can do to their city and how costly and destabilizing it was/is.

I believe the UN is behind the caravans, but an even larger problem, antifa is in Tijuana coaching those who are left while recruiting at the same time.

Recently Oscar El Blue was saying that their new President was going to secure their southern border, but Mexico did sign the recent UN Migration Pact, so I don't know how that will play out.

This again, same as in another thread. The national emergency gets the military deployed and building stuff. It can't force new legislation.

I wish it could. There are about 10 bad immigration laws I'd like to change. But national emergency won't get that done.

The migration pact (I've read it) says you can have border security and keep out those without proper visas.

But it says that once people are in your country you have to treat them very nicely and cannot interfere with or tax their remittances.

So it actually increases the importance of border security. You have to keep them out, it's your only way of defending your society under the migration pact.

I haven't read the entire pact (obviously). You have pointed out some important issues and securing our border not only from illegal entry (for obvious reasons), but also because of what's going on in the unsecured areas which are being used for trafficking drugs, children, and a plethora of other illicit activities.

I don't understand how border opponents can sit on their fake, humanitarian, bullshit pedestals, know what's taking place, yet, refuse to change or even so much as acknowledge the real issues.

I'm perplexed and angry, even more so after doing research for a video on the subject. Prior to this I was apathetic, because I didn't understand how many victims were created in the open spaces along our nonexistent border wall.

At one point with the first "caravan", POTUS said he was going to get to the bottom of who was organizing and paying for these mobs. I'm sure he knows it's the United Nations, USAid and NGOs the likes of slime-bag Soros. Not sure how he's going to deal with that, but I'm sure he will once that wall is built.

It's their culture of machismo, crookedness, and drugs and failure to enforce reasonable Law. And they come in such a way and numbers that they bring their culture with them, instead of learning the culture that made America Great.

Genetics and location have large parts in forming a culture.
