No he's not. It's called merit based immigration policy. These visa holders work and contribute. They also get chosen for jobs over citizens. Why? Because companies pay them less. Take that shit away and it reopens true competition.

No he isn't!

He promised to reform immigration. Stop illegal immigration.

I'm disgusted by the left contradicting their own words despite Trump.

You know why?

The Elite profit from illegal drug sales. They made an image of strong border security for the idiots.

The real truth is they knew there were open spots. They intended to allow travel to and from the US.

When this REAL wall goes up, the drug sales drop. When the world witnesses the elite cabal go broke, it will be obvious.

President Trump is cutting off funds to the dark elitists. First Saudi Arabia, now drug and human trafficking.

One day, I promise you this, you will see the truth. I can only hope you are able to accept it, being wrong. This goes for all our wonderful citizens who have been led astray by marxists embedded in the Democrat party.

God Bless

So why should these skilled H1-B immigrants should not only be allowed to work temporarily, but also to obtain citizenship which will allow them and their extended families to remain permanently?

I think there is the potential to screw over the big corporations that use this H1-B labor. They like it because they have a pool of workers that have no rights and that they can exploit. A modern tech slave labor force.

If these talented people aren't non citizens with no standing and no ability to change jobs if they aren't treated right, and instead can compete outside of the contract they were hired for, then the big corporations lose their slaves that came here to take jobs that used to pay 55,000 and work for 12,000. The big corporations won't be able to treat people that way anymore. (maybe)

If this were true, don't you think that would have happened a long time ago?

No one ever said legal immigration is a problem except the left by false accusations.

The numbers are clear, illegal immigration is a tremendous strain to our economy.

Legal immigration actual profits the economy bt providing skilled labor.

Even tough farm jobs can be profitable for our economy and the immigrants if it is done legally.

Illegal immigration also hurts legal immigrants.

85,000 H1-Bs last year.

If they get their pathway to citizenship that Trump seems to be now considering, multiply that times:

Wives

Sons

Daughters

Mothers

Fathers

All of which will be eligible for the new citizens to sponsor in, no skills or education required.

Not true, the President has said multiple times that he wants to put and END to chain migration.

If you want to bring family members over you will have to prove that you are able to support them. Under Obama every family member could come over and join the free shit army. Just look at Dearborn, MI.
Look around, is this the end that you have foreseen?
The pain, the misery in us all
What was it that you knew?
Will we one day learn it too?
And together build another way, to the morning
Or will it ever come again?
You've poisoned all our hopes
We have nothing now, and what of the children?
What has this done to them?
Damn you for the pain that they must feel...

Part of trumps plan has always been ending chain migration and the visa lottery. which means they can bring their wives and any minor children. But not the extended family. which will be less each year than the visa lottery.

Re: President Trump: "H1-B holders in the United States can rest assured that changes are soon coming -- including a potential path to citizenship.
Unfortunately, there's no choice but some sort of path to citizenship for the millions that are already here. The problem is too big. You can't go round them all up. What you can do, as an example, is seal the border first, then have them all register, give them a time frame (1 year or something), put them at the back of the line. In the mean time, they have to go through the same citizenship requirements everyone else has to, etc, etc. For the ones that fail to register, after whatever time frame, and they get caught (pulled over, etc) they get deported. Maybe give them extra time to register if they have a legal resident sponsor. Or something.
Point is, it's not perfect, but we are were we are. It's a path to citizenship, but not an amnesty at all. It's humane and fair.
Just an idea.

When the program is reformed it will operate like every other country. A non-citizen can be hired if no other citizens are available to fill the position. Try to get a job in Europe as an American.

No foreigner from a mud country can benefit this nation.
I don't care how much gobbledygook nonsense they spew at their 'jobs' a real American should have.

If you're not white English based, you never comprehend the Constitution. Nor you're kids, because they inherit enough of parent memory to keep them stupid.

If our nation is so bad off with population, stop abortion.
Stop importing slave labor. Replace values teaching at schools and instead teach academics and hard sciences.
Today.

People from India will worship a cow and starve to death it's feet. That is stupid. The poor will bring their scant food to rats in a temple for rats they worship. That is stupid. They immerse themselves in shit and dead body detritus because they think a river is sacred. That is stupid. Do we need that culteral stupidity here permanently? How long till they are floating their corpses in the Mississippi?

Mud foreigners have no merit.

This is the right thing to do.
Our immigration policies have been a bear to navigate.

Trump has said many times that he does not oppose legal immigration.
We aren't cut out to be socialists. We are the people who couldn't be constrained by Europe. We are the malcontents, idealists, speculators, dreamers, inventors, debtors and criminals who would not be chained. We don't play well with others, we are brash, outlandish and cunning. let us do what we do best; let us be Americans.

This is a smart move. It brings a body of Mexicans into our camp to support the wall and defy the DemonCrats. Those who are here legally, without crimes, contributing AND EMBRACING AMERICAN TRADITIONS, CULTURE, VALUES are welcome to become citizens.

It is the Dems who are true racists.

This also is smart strategy politically.
