The statement President Trump made was probably a heads up to corporations as much as anything. They need to get rid of their visa holders and hire American now, if they want to stabilize their profit margin over the next 2 years.

Coding is short term training generally, unless a kid gets a whole college degree in Computer Science and then still gets underbid by the shitters.

I don't understand why kids choose that as their college major. It's very competitive, it's cheap for the college to provide (no messy chem or engineering labs) and it teaches languages that will be obsolete in 20 years, for work that can be easily underbid offshore or by H1B's.

We don't get the best. The best return to India and have eight servants.

Here's a big part of the problem. If all the best people come to the US, esp from a place like India, how the hell is India going to ever IMPROVE? The best people need to go BACK THERE and make it a better country! And India is just one of these places. There are many good people from all over the world but I don't want to see them supplanting Americans and they need to go back to their own countries and MAKE THEM GREAT AGAIN TOO!

I know that a lot of US Universities are "dumbed down" as you say, and many H1B employees graduate from them.

It is a lie that White people are not reproducing enough. Technology creates a need for less workers. Immigration feeds on itself. When you have VAST numbers coming in- you have an immediate need for more houses, schools, medical people, box stores, etc., etc., etc.- so then there aren't enough Whites to take care of this manufactured need, so you must import more and more. A sick cycle.

I totally agree with your statement about the education system isn't what it used to be. But my point is the kids can't rely on the education they've received in the schools. They have to put some effort or show some interest to learn the skills needed to get a job in today's world.
I know my co-worker's kid started learning python language on his home PC. He is going to become a savvy programmer when he grows up. It is all about motivation to learn the required skills.

This is the greatest betrayal to his base of his Presidency. Americans first was the entire point of voting for him.

So now we have no representation within government. Both parties and our President place the needs of foreigners over that of Americans.

We are not even talking about immigrants already here but rather going out of our way to import and chose foreign nationals for jobs over Americans.

They come here knowing they are temporary workers and that it could be altered/ended at any time. Most probably come from the more well off families in their own nation anyway. I don't think the "lower caste untouchables" comprise a lot of the H1B workers. So, it's not inhumane at all to send them back and stop the program altogether imo.

It's been that way for decades.
What nobody has mentioned so far is the corporations receive Federal subsidies for minority workers.
That cheaper labor is money in the bank for them.
