Sorry, just saw that I haven't answered the first part of your question. His Sun is in the 6th natal, mine is in the 3rd natal. His Ascendant is at 14 degrees Leo, while mine is 0.20 Leo.

the card governing the eclipse is a nine of spades in your jupiter period... the former usually equates to painful bad ju ju, but the latter speaks to a benefic, blessed outcome. suit specifically dealing with work and personal health, i would guess the eclipse season may bring about an ending for you in those terms - work or health matters.

the keynote to the number nine is letting go. those able to can see the light at the end of the tunnel for what it is. those who can't, well, they tend to make a finite tunnel endless needlessly.

you've a few more nines in your yearly spread, so unless you've achieved buddha hood already, i'd wager this year hasn't been one you'd refer to as dear. the light at the end of the tunnel the cards speak to is one of release from financial worries - not in a sense of hitting the lottery, but in changing the eye that is the beholder of the worries... appreciating and making the most of times of abundance and realizing, perhaps having faith even, that the times of lacking, too, will pass.

i've been working on reading C.G. Jung's "Synchronicity" over the past week before bedtime, as I am now typing a brief bit past, and he observed in his research that conjunctions of Sun and Moon occur in married couples much more frequently (more so than any other astrological conjunction) than can be rationally attributed to chance - and I would wager the results of a parent-child study (what I would do if I were like Jung too) would be interesting, no idea what they would reveal, but still...

both of your natal moons are in succedent houses, ergo, you both are most comfortable emotionally in situations involving action as spurred by thought/motivation/inspiration. neither of you likely care much for woolgathering or brainstorming, nor reminiscing or harvesting when it comes to emotional matters.

what's interesting between the two of you is that while you will experience the eclipse within the succedent house of the fourth quadrant - a familiar house for you, your son will experience it in a cadent house, where impetus is driven less towards action and more towards deliberation and careful thought before action.

a time may come in the near future that you may feel as though your son may be drawing away from you emotionally, and that you must act upon this, but my advice would be to stay any such urges provided there is no reason to suspect imminent physical harm to himself or others.

the last thing moon-jupiter in the 5th wants to hear is to not smother, i know, but it is what it is.

I see in your yearly spread what appears to be a great deal of tension with communication, my hunch given the symbolism is a sort of teacher/student relationship going through turmoil or change of some sort.

The eclipse season in particular may bring about an end to this relationship, along with indecision and worries as to how you may feel about it.

Being creative with some personal outlet is probably the most beneficial way to resolve whatever tension you may feel. Try new things, different styles of communicating, and take the punches they have to offer as learning experiences.
