When I first read the title, I thought it was the same storytime travesty that we had here a few weeks ago where the freaks were reading books to small children... but this one is for teens?
So this is becoming a "thing" now... having 'things' read to various ages of children in public libraries?
Equating deviancy with learning in their minds?
Parents in these areas better get organized & stop this shit...

I work at a library in the midwest, and we would never have anything like this. I couldn't see it happening here. We have programs every week, but a lot of the entertainment is geared towards the old people. Lots of broadway, an Elvis impersonator, oldies, etc. Even the programs geared towards kids I couldn't ever see our children's librarian bringing in drag queens. But you never know... I used to never see How can we shut this down? figure out who the Library director's boss is and start there. Usually a town manager or the mayor. Be heard.
