For anyone with Facebook, I found this. Her family is giving updates on who is helping them to find this couple. Still no word from the couple since December 15th. A photo of their car is shown.

The families of Blais and Tacchetto have been without news since December 15, 2018. The 34-Year-old sherbrookoise was to participate in a humanitarian project in Togo with his Italian travel companion, a 30-year And close friend she met 2 years ago in Canada.

They were expected by their friends from the body gaia body long before Christmas, but would never have crossed the border or asked for visas from Burkina Faso to Togo.

Last news, the experienced passenger duo was headed to ougadougou from Bobo-Dioulasso to stay there for 4 or 5 days and possibly sell their car. I was in these areas in around 2010 (traveled from Paris south into Africa and through 9 West African countries (Morocco (N Africa), Senegal, The Gambia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast) and I could not go back now. There were mosques everywhere I didn't go out at night without a black guy I trusted. I was threatened with death, chased, robbed and ripped off all the time. But, I met intersting people (other travelers), Nigerian drug dealers, and a guy in Senegal (went by Ali Baba) that helped me out after I was robbed.

It was crazy back then and absurdly dangerous now.
