Why hasn't Trump made Arizona great again?

Bankruptcy filings rose nearly 5 percent in Southern Arizona and 3 percent statewide in 2018, increasing for the second year in a row, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Arizona district.

Last year, 3,904 bankruptcy cases of all types were filed in the court’s Tucson division compared with 3,733 in 2017, a 4.6 percent increase.

Statewide, the overall number of filings rose 3 percent from 2017, to 15,742. The court’s Phoenix division reported a 2.1 percent increase and the Yuma division posted an 8 percent increase.

Though full-year nationwide filing statistics for 2018 were not yet available, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court said filings for the first half of the year were down 2.6 percent.

As a Tucsonian I'm fairly certain the problem is at the state level. Phoenix being the state capital takes more in taxes than it gives back. Always has.

AZ is the toilet of Las Vegas crime syndicates, and CA
millionaires. Lately Bill Gates has bought in as well.
Most of the population of AZ are from back east, old farts escaping snow, and mostly liberal, politically unaware.

Californicators are stampeding in, escaping the worst of
southern California invasion, and AZ itself is invaded daily by hordes of illegals. They have boosted the cost of housing to astronomical levels considering what you get @ over $150 per sq ft. for slab and stick with stucco patio hot box.

Illegals have no English. No money. No home. Mostly criminals. Looking for work, to worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk harrrrrrrrrrrrd. No skills.

Corporations in this state hire hb1 visa scum out of India for very cheap. Pinnacle West, parent company of APS major offender. IBM. Raytheon. ASU. Flagstaff U hoping to jam
30,000 more students in, exceeding the population of the city. City councils are filled with foreigners, mismanagement, greed and corruption.

AZ limps along on retirement and SS money from seniors.
Schools are horrible. Teachers not well paid at all. Most under $30k per year.

The state can't make it without the stiffest border security possible and complete moratorium on work visas for at least a decade.
